Here at Visionscapes we provide professional landscaping ideas, designs, landscape maintenance, and landscape construction to the Waikato region of New Zealand.
Visionscapes aim is to provide a complete landscaping experience for their clients with customer service and satisfaction at the forefront. The highly qualified team has over 20 years experience and is renowned for combining creative design with technical expertise to deliver outstanding landscape design solutions.
Visionscapes, established in 2018, has quickly become one of Cambridge's first choices in all things landscaping - design and construction, residential and commercial. Visionscapes is the sister company of Greenscape Landscape and Garden Supplies, who have been providing landscape supplies to the Waipa region for over 15 years. In doing so, we provide a one stop shop with a wealth of knowledge for all of your landscaping needs. Greenscapes provides an extensive range of high quality affordable products to suit every customer.
Our Leadership Team
Luke Eason
Project Manager / Lead Designer
Luke is one of our most experienced landscapers on the team with a good 16 years under his belt. He is third generation Landscaper in his family.
Luke's previous jobs include a stonework project in the Royal Melbourne Botanical Gardens and the St Kilda playground in Cambridge, working with timber and stone are just a couple of strengths this well rounded landscaper possesses. If Luke isn’t working, you’ll find him (still working) renovating his house. Luke is from Hamilton and his favourite hobbies include mountain biking in summer and snow activities in winter.

Dave Lorigan
Owner / Director
From 20 years in the Hospitality industry to now driving Trucks, diggers and creating Landscapes, Dave's like a kid in a Sandpit, but who says an old dog can't learn new tricks!
Dave and wife Amy along with their kids are super super proud of the team of people they have working within their 3 businesses. Visionscapes Landscaping, GTT Mechanical and Greenscape Garden supplies. Whether it be a beverage or two at the end of the week, fishing trips, dinners out and other adventures. Creating a great working environment and a great team has led to awesome growth for the businesses, not only in staff numbers but also personal growth amongst the staff has been a privilege to watch for Dave.
Dave loves getting stuck in with the teams on projects as well as lending a hand to the designs and while he's not so flash on a computer, Dave loves to show off his hand drawn concepts that he does up for clients. Dave enjoys watching the transformation of projects by the amazing hard working teams. A recent highlight was having all 3 businesses involved on a project, the landscape design, steel structures engineered, installation completed and landscape products supplied all inhouse was an awesome moment.

Maggie
CEO / Security Expert
A pup of many talents, Maggie loves travelling to a new sites, keeping the team on track and vigorously checking over all new work completed. When she's not keeping the team in order you'll find her doing security checks in the Greenscape's yard or boosting team morale in the GTT workshop. Quite often, she'll sit in on the Visionscapes morning toolbox meetings and ensures everyone knows what's happening for the day.
After a long & productive week at @landscapingHQ Maggie spends her time enjoying the sunshine, loves getting belly rubs and has a little dig in the garden to find old burried treasures.

Previously working in the mining industry as a heavy machine operator in Aussie, you'll find this multitasker either working on accounts or driving our machinery (what a trooper!). Missy has been working as part of the Greenscapes / Visionscapes / GTT team for over 5 years. She knows all there is to know about pebbles, timber and all things Greenscapes!

"The people! The people I work with and the people I meet everyday. I love when my regular customers come in the door and I can have a chat with them and brighten their day. For me, its all about the customers I'll go out of my way to make sure their experience is always a good one when they walk in our yard.

Mariaan
Communications Lead
"The Face and voice of Visionscapes"
Mariaan is the friendly communicator that answers all your queries, organises our designers and quoters to meet with clients on site and liaises throughout the landscaping process giving updates and organising schedules. Basically the company's "Camp Mum".
We are so lucky to have such a great organiser keeping us all in check and keeping our communication to our clients a priority.
Mariaan's vast experience is instrumental in creating order out of the chaos which makes for a smooth running process. Mariaan is also the talent behind all our marketing, social and networking platforms and she doesn't shy away from jumping into landscaping either. Whether they need an extra hand to plant some trees, making sure the teams have what they need, doing final handover photoshoots or dropping off a thank-you beverage to our clients. You will generally see her and our little Visionscapes car zipping around town.

Molly - 'aka' - Our future Landscape Architect! Working in retail has provided Molly exposure and valuable day to day experience in photography, marketing for websites and social media. In addition to her passion for photography, and love for learning, Molly is in her second year of study in a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. We can't have a better team mate designing your gardens!

Zara is one talented landscaper. Her passion for creating personalised outdoor spaces drives her to be the best she can be. Her expertise in all round landscaping wins the customers approval every day. Being the typical Kiwi gal, she loves going to markets and kicking off her boots at music gigs.

Gav
Landscaper / Team Leader
Gav - aka The Expert Builder. He's been building for many years and has a lot of experience. His eye for detail and "know how" ensures happy customers at the end of the day.
Gav loves going home to his family and enjoys relaxing with a margarita at the end of the day.
When not working, he is an avid fisherman and loves watching horse races.

Ty
Landscaper / Team Leader
Tyrin - aka "Ty" has been a landscaper for 3 years and finalised his apprenticeship through Visionscapes. Ty loves watching a landscape transform and "working with some top quality people". Originally from small town Moerewa, Ty the family man enjoys the beach, anything outdoors and loves going back home for some fishing and diving. Being a man of many talents, his love for pulling apart or upgrading his car started at the age of 15.
Ty and his family welcomed their youngest of 4 to the world in October 2021.

Landscaping Apprentice
Marty 'aka' The Joker. No day with Marty around is boring. Marty is always up for a hot chocolate, sometimes with a shot of caffeine. Marty loves the outdoors and loves creating landscapes that make people happy. In his 1st year of being a landscape apprentice, he's super excited to get qualified as a Landscaper. Being a driven person, he has a bunch of goals that he wants to accomplish in the next few years. Watch this space!

Draco
Landscaping Apprentice
Jacob 'aka' Draco. This motivated young fella, with mullet and all, has big dreams and aspirations. He can't wait to finish his papers with his landscaping apprenticeship programme to get onto two more qualifications. Being such a driven individual who knows, he might not even stop there! With dreams of running his own company, the world is his oyster!
Draco also does all the tough stuff, like play rugby and work on his truck, but on his softer side his biggest idols are his grandparents - who better to learn from!

Jase
Landscaping Apprentice
Jase started his apprenticeship at Visionscapes after spending 10 years working in hospitality. This Cambridge born and bred guy enjoys seeing a finished landscape after the team have been working on it. Jase doesn't just build garden edging, planter boxes and drive all the machinery, he's really good at rounding up team mates to join him in playing rugby or cricket.

Noah
Labourer
Born in UK, raised in NZ, this kiwi has done a little bit of everything. Our newest edition wanted to be an architect growing up, but soon realised that he loved being part of the action instead. With experience in building too, this young man has some solid know how in retaining walls.

There is not a moment during the day that this guy doesn't smile. He is a well rounded builder, landscaper, digger driver and of late, playbox builder. He's bought himself the tools to be able to turn wood and become a master in his trade. He loves computers and can build the techi parts too. Woah!

Dan helps out at GTT with accounting, he's a professional yardie for Greenscapes where he drives diggers and knows everything there is to know about different pebbles and garden supplies, but he also doesnt mind getting his hands dirty with the Vision family either. One of the happiest people around, when left alone in the office, Dan loves to groove to George FM!
While not at work Dan will be out trying new places to eat, finding new waterfalls or studying for his degree!
