Landscaping Vacancies

Senior Landscaper / Team Leader

We’re looking for a motivated and positive Lead Landscaper to join our dedicated team.
This is a permanent full-time role, within a high performing team and delivery of design projects. Earn $30 + per hour (depending on experience), and we'll help if you need to move for the role. We are a dynamic, fast-growing company with top-tier clients.
We have a great team environment and company culture with regular and epic staff events.

Some Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Designers/Operations Manager to develop project schedules and timelines

  • Ensure that all work is completed within the project budget and on schedule

  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to the project manager and other team members, Daily recording of site activity.

  • Ensure that all work meets client needs and expectations

  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

  • Conduct safety meetings and inspections.

  • Train team members on proper soft landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures

  • Oversee and participate in the soft landscaping work, including obtaining relevant heights and levels, preparation of garden and lawn areas, planting, mulching, turf, pruning trimming as required.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping and 1 in a leadership role.

  • Knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and materials, excellent plant knowledge.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of landscapers

  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans/designs and specifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, designers, clients, and team members

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to soft landscaping work

  • Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment

  • Full driver’s license

Junior Landscapers, Apprentices & Labourers!

We are always on the lookout for landscapers. If you'd like to join an awesome team in Cambridge then please get in touch!

As part of the landscaping crew you will take a hands on role in ensuring the successful completion of each job from start to finish. Jobs are varied each day to the next but will include all facets of landscaping. You will work with very experienced landscapers that will teach you the tricks of the trade and all there is to know about landscaping.

If you don't have much experience in the field but are still keen to start a landscaping career, then get in touch with us too! A good attitude is the most important quality a candidate can have, and a will to learn and improve. 

Required:

  • Be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather
  • Have a passion for your craft, taking pride every step of the way
  • Be a team player
  • Excellent customer service, personable with good communication skills
  • Relevant experience
  • A current NZ drivers license

Preferred:

  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • The role would involve landscaping, maintenance and gardening of residential to commercial jobs
