Alfresco dining spaces have been rising in popularity throughout New Zealand, and we're sat here wondering why this trend didn't begin sooner! Creating beautiful, weather resistant outdoor spaces is something Visionscapes takes great pride in, and this particular outdoor space has plenty of upsides and very little down. An area that the whole family can enjoy, from kids birthdays to a BBQ with friends to Christmas lunch, these dining spaces are quickly becoming a must when designing a new home, or upgrading an established one.

This eye catching pergola has been created from beautiful rich brown Kwila timber, as has the decking underneath it and the wall behind it. The culmination of these different structures using the same timber is breathtaking blend of unique yet similar styles, creating a layered tapestry of striking red/brown hues in clear contrast to the vibrant greens and blues surrounding it.

The owners of this property have lived here for 40 years. It’s the family home, where everyone gathers over holidays to enjoy time together. The garden has been shaped and formed, but the family grew, and so needed the garden. That’s when we stepped in. We were asked to add in pavers, an entertainment area, add and configure the new pergola, decking and landscaping to fit in with the already existing, beautiful garden. Buschbeck Outdoor Fireplace hit the spot. The pavers around the pool were renewed and brought back life to the pool in time for summer.
